Advanced Safeguarding Module Booking and Information

About the Module
The Advanced Module builds on the learning from the Foundation Module and Foundation Refresher Module and helps to work towards improving those areas identified within the recommendations of the Past Cases Review (Courage, Cost and Hope — Past Cases Review 2013 — 2015).

The Advanced Module differs from the Leadership Module in that it is split into 3 parts:
Essential preparation (1 hour 30 minutes) — which is done prior to the face to face session and sent out 10-14 days before the face to face session
Core learning session (delivered on the day — when you will receive your Participants Handbook
Handbook (a resource for further study) — which you will receive on the day

It is vitally important that the Essential Preparation is completed prior to the core learning session as it underpins much of what will be covered on the day, will help to promote thinking and reflection around safeguarding within the Methodist Church and help you recognise its significance within your own role(s).

The Essential Preparation can be done alone or in small groups, and in order to facilitate this the emails of all attendees on the same session will be shared. If anyone does NOT wish for their email to be shared please let me know at the time of booking.
